Wicked reimagines the Land of Oz, telling the untold story of Elphaba, the green-skinned outcast who becomes the Wicked Witch of the West, and her unlikely friendship with Glinda, the bubbly and ambitious Good Witch. As their lives intertwine at Shiz University, they navigate love, betrayal, and the fight for justice in a society riddled with prejudice. The musical explores themes of acceptance, power, and morality, revealing the complexities behind Elphaba’s “wicked” reputation. Set against stunning visuals and a memorable score, including hits like “Defying Gravity,” Wicked challenges the traditional notions of good and evil in a magical yet poignant tale.
