Legacy Arena at the BJCC Pollstar Mid-Year Ranking #52 Worldwide Arena by tickets sold

BIRMINGHAM, AL – The Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) is proud to announce that it has been ranked among the top arenas in the world in Pollstar’s 2024 Mid-Year Ranking. Legacy Arena now ranks #52 worldwide for tickets sold and the #55 grossing arena. The BJCC Concert Hall has achieved a ranking of #46 worldwide for tickets sold and #70 in global gross revenue.

“This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team in bringing world-class entertainment to Birmingham,” BJCC CEO Tad Snider said.  “We take pride in our collective efforts to bring top quality entertainment to the market and boost tourism-related revenue for the city of Birmingham.”

Of the Top 100 North American Tours (ranked by gross revenue), the BJCC has hosted or will host 24 of them between last fall and the end of this year. This includes top hip hop tour Nicki Minaj (#6), top country tour Zach Bryan (#9), top comedy tour Nate Bargatze (#10), top hard rock tour Tool (#21), and many others.

The Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) is Alabama’s premier sports, convention and entertainment center. It is home to two exhibition halls offering 220,000 square feet for trade shows and exhibitions, as well as sports and entertainment venues, including a concert hall, stadium, and the state’s largest arena. The BJCC campus also includes the Uptown Entertainment District, The Westin Birmingham Hotel and Alabama’s largest hotel, the 757-room Sheraton Birmingham. The BJCC will soon welcome a new 9,380-seat amphitheater, set to open in summer of 2025.
